a collection of photographs from 1954 - present

artist's statement

My photographs reflect the world as I see it, focusing on interesting perspectives and unusual compositions.  Sometimes, there is some embellishment and a degree of fancy, but I like to record what I see, in all its color, but taking full advantage of the power of imaging software. Primarily, though, I photograph for the enjoyment it gives me when I see the finished, framed product and for the enjoyment it may give to others.

For the past several years, I have had my photos entered in juried exhibitions at Elmhurst Artists' Guild; Bloomindale (IL) Park District, Graue Mill "Eye of the Stone" exhibiitions, and Northwest Cultural Council exhibitions.  Two entries, "Climate Change" and "Windy City vs. Trump Tower," have received honorable mentions.

Notecards using my photographs are being sold at artisans' shops, bookstores and museums at various locations in Illinois.  They can be viewed at www.tsquareimages.com.
